Guadalupe Martinez

Guadalupe Martinez, Jr., 53, a life-long resident of Casa Grande, entered Eternal Rest on Sunday, December 24, 2017 while surrounded by his loving family. Lupe was born on Friday, April 10, 1964 in Casa Grande, AZ to Guadalupe Sr. and Florinda Martinez.
On May 12, 2017 he entered marriage with Jacque Armstrong in Casa Grande, AZ. Lupe was a medical transporter for the Gila River Health Care. He had a strong passion for family and friends.
Hobbies included fishing, hunting, camping and many other outdoor activities. He enjoyed singing and took pleasure by helping others, whether it was giving his last dollar or by speaking the words of truth; he always had a way to make you feel so much better, especially with his "Papa Bear Hugs". He will be greatly missed by those his heart has touched.

Survivors include his mother, Florinda Martinez of Casa Grande,
AZ; wife, Jacque Martinez of Casa Grande, AZ; two daughters,
Crystal Martinez (Roman De Leon) and Desiree Martinez
(Miguel Uribe, Jr.) of Casa Grande, AZ; one son, Erique Martinez (David
Flores) of Mesa, AZ; three stepchildren, Brenda Velasco, Noleen Jose
and Elijah Jose all of Casa Grande, AZ; two sisters, Cynthia Martinez
and Erica Martinez also of Casa Grande, AZ; and his 10 grandchildren.

Lupe is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Martinez, Sr.
Viewing will be held at Crossroads Church on Saturday the 6th
of January 2018 at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life will be held
at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Hill officiating. Burial will follow at
Mt. View Cemetery in Casa Grande, AZ. Serving as pallbearers are:
Elijah Jose, Louis Hernandez, Steven Smith, Micah Powell, David
Otero, Richard Tapia, Eric Vasquez, Chris Mariscal and Ruben
Mendoza.
