She was born on May 28, 1951, to Jose and Rafaela Tapia in Mexico. She enjoyed cooking, music, flowers and watching TV.

Survivors include her husband, Juan Carlos Estrada; four daughters and sons, Nora Tapia, Juan G. Mohawk, Julissa Mohawk and Jesus Rodriguez, all of Eloy; two brothers; six sisters; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Mohawk.
