Harold L. Wright

Harold Lloyd Wright, 77, of Casa Grande died Dec. 31, 2008 at Hospice of the Valley, Dobson Home.


Mr. Wright was born in Barstow, Texas. He grew up in Texas and Arizona and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School in 1948. He served in the Army and Navy and attended Arizona State University. He later received a master's degree from the University of Arizona.

He was a teacher in Casa Grande for 25 years and was very passionate about education. He loved to read and enjoyed politics and philosophy.

Survivors include two sons, Cody and Casey Gentzkow of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Homer D. Wright of Casa Grande; a sister, Novella Schroeder of Casa Grande; and two grandchildren.

No service is planned.
