Harriet Jane James

BAPCHULE - Harriett Jane James, 45, of Tempe died March 30, 2009 at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.


Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the James home, 1100 N. Rodeo Road in Casa Blanca. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by the Rev. Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in Sacate Cemetery.

Ms. James was born Oct. 26, 1963 in Sacaton. She was a security dispatcher at Lone Butte Casino. She was a sincere, loving person who made people laugh.

Survivors include her companion, David Hernandez; five stepdaughters, Gloria Marquez, Yolanda Verdugo, Lupe Hernandez, Mary Ellen Borboa and Susan Garcia, all of Phoenix; and four sisters, Yolanda Harvey, Lorenda and Lynette James and Jaylin Manuel, all of Casa Blanca.
