Harriett Sam

SACATON - Harriett D. Manuel Sam, 63, died on May 7, 2018.

Ms. Sam was born on May 10, 1954, in Sacaton to George and Agnes Manuel. She was a lifelong resident of Sacaton and a homemaker who was known for her conversations, family dinners, tamales, listening to the Bee Gees and watching Hallmark movies on YouTube.

Survivors include a daughter and son, Delilah Sam-Cardenas and Jeremy Sam; four brothers, Eric, Kenton, Derwin and Garren Manuel; two sisters, Louelle Domingo and Francine Madrid; seven grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by a son, Jackson D. Sam; two brothers, Burton Leslie and Keenan Manuel; and two sisters, Florine Enos and Marlene Johns.

Wake from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at Hashen-Kehk District 2 Multipurpose Building. Funeral on Saturday, May 19, at River of Life Assembly of God in Sacaton, with final viewing from 7 to 8 a.m. Burial in East Sacaton Cemetery.
