COOLIDGE — Harris David Burton, 83, of Coolidge died on July 18, 2011, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.
The memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Coolidge.
Mr. Burton was born on April 18, 1928, in Roseau, Minn., and was a son of Harold and Amy Graun Osgolon. He served in the Army and was a truck driver. He enjoyed racing his go-kart, flying his plane, travel and reading the Bible.
Survivors include his wife, Mary A.; a daughter, Tina Fleming of Portland, Ore.; two stepdaughters, Dottie Johansen of Portland and Consuelo Miller of Arizona City; four stepsons, George Pecike of Portland, Yancy Cantu of Casa Grande, Joel Cantu of Stanfield and Chris Cantu of Arizona City; two sisters, Ruby Lane and Pearl Hass of Portland; two brothers, Harlan and Ervin Burton of Portland; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Violet Pecike Burton.
