Haywood M. Sharp

Haywood Sharp, 66, of Casa Grande died Oct. 10, 2008 at home.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve Marquedant officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Sharp was born in Crockett, Texas, and was a son of William and Theria Sharp. He was a technician before retirement. He was a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Ontario, Calif., for more than 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Francine M.; two daughters, Kimberly M. Colburn of Lacey, Wash., and Jacqueline Sharp of Casa Grande; a son, Samuel M. Sharp of Ontario; two sisters, Veoria Givens of Phoenix and Virginia Sharp of Los Angeles; two brothers, Ulysses "Slim" and Fred Sharp of Casa Grande; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dennie J. Sharp, and two brothers, Andy and Eutt "Al" Sharp.
