Helen Lorraine Fauss

Mrs Fauss was born in Frankfort, S.D., a daughter of Carl and Ida Johnson. She was raised on a farm, her mother died when she was 4 and she was raised by her stepmother and aunt, Laura Johnson. She attended High School in Doland, S.D., she also attened Northern State Teachers College.She met her husband while in college, Glenn Fauss and they were married in 1941. She was active in Trinity Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, Silver Saints, OWLS and Delta Kappa Gamma. Upon retiring, she and her husband spent 23 summers in S.D. and the cooler months in Casa Grande. She was devoted to her family and friends.
Burial was held at Black Hills National Cemetery, in Sturgis S.D.
