CASA BLANCA - Helen Setoyant, 82, of Casa Blanca died on March 14, 2014, at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at Billy Farris Memorial Hall. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.
Ms. Setoyant was born on Feb. 2, 1932, in Sacaton and was a daughter of Jose and Susan Kisto. She was a housekeeper and was devoted to her family. She always looked out for the well-being of her children and grandchildren and was always there for them. She loved the Lord and was a prayer leader at St. Peter’s Church, also involved in the rosary group and food sales. She loved listening to gospel music.
Survivors include three daughters, Irene Stover and Cheryl Setoyant of Casa Blanca and Esther Setoyant of Goodyear Village; a son, Lyndon Setoyant of Goodyear Village; a brother, Dana Kisto of St. Johns Village; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Barry, Anthony and Benedict Setoyant Jr.; a daughter, Candelarian Setoyant; and a brother, Leonard Kisto.
