Henrietta Guerrero (Queta) "The Dutchess" Diaz, age 79, died peacefully on July 3, 2017 at Lita’s
Caring Home. She was born November 1, 1937 in Nixon, Texas, daughter of Juan and Maria Guerrero, granddaughter to Jose and Isabel Medrano. Henrietta was a longtime resident of Eloy. She retired as a Supervisor for the Thompson Co. and as a Pharmacy Technician for Albertson’s Pharmacy. In addition to raising six children, she loved singing in the church mariachi group, helping the community, and working as a volunteer at CARHA’s Food Bank. She loved shopping, the outdoors, and attending sporting events for her children and grandchildren. Henrietta is survived by her brother, Arturo Guerrero and her sister, Petra Cruz (both of Tucson); her daughters, Ursula Renner and Andrea Little of Eloy; and her sons, Paul Diaz, Jr. of Eloy and Frank Diaz of Sierra Vista. She is preceded in death by her husband, Pablo Diaz and children, Juan Gabriel, Natividad, Mareita, Robert and Laura Diaz. The family would like to thank all of those who took the time to visit Henrietta during her stay at Lita’s Caring Home. Special thanks to the staff at Lita’s for providing Henrietta (Queta) the love and care she needed during her stay and thanks to Hospice Compassus during last weeks of care. She leaves a legacy of 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

the church service will be held at St. Helen’s.
