Herminio M. Terrazas

BAPCHULE - Herminio M. Terrazas, 75, died on July 13, 2014.

The wake will begin at 6 p.m. Friday at the Terrazas home, 2428 Sweetwater Circle. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Mission in Upper Santan by the Rev. Gregory Rice. A potluck will follow. Burial will be in Sweetwater Cemetery.

Mr. Terrazas was born on May 9, 1939, in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, and was a son of Gerardo and Librarada Terrazas. He was a casino cook and a devoted family man, inseparable from his wife. He was a joyful man who loved life.

Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; five sons, Hernold Terrazas of Sweetwater, Thomas St. George of Mesa, Carlos Terrazas of Coolidge, Derek Woith of Mesa and Luciano Terrazas; three daughters, Jolinda Terrazas of Phoenix, Queensford Terrazas of Coolidge and Irene Kisto of Casa Blanca; two brothers, Eugene Terrazas of Chandler and Joseph Terrazas of Iceland; four sisters, Lydia Cavasos of Texas, Esther McDonald of Chandler, Shirley Wicoff of Goodyear and Yolanda Durrah of Strawberry; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Sheena Terrazas and Amy St. George; two brothers, Claudio and David Terrazas; and two sisters, Pilar Jurado and Moncerata Navarette.
