Hilario "Larry" Gallegos, 79, of Eloy died Jan. 19, 2008 at Tucson Medical Center.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mr. Gallegos was born Jan. 14, 1929 in Roy, N.M., and was a son of Gregorio and Rafaela Gallegos. He served in the Army and worked for Southern Pacific Railroad before retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona; a daughter, Gloria Morales of Morenci; her mother, Rachel Arvizu of Benson; six sisters, Lucy Bazan of Eloy, Estefanita Perez of Sacramento, Calif., MaryLou Arredondo of Corning, Calif., Josephine Gomez of Salinas, Calif., Margie Romero of South Gate, Calif., and Antonia Carranza of Arivaca; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosalie Miller, and two brothers, Manuel and Ramon Gallegos.
