Hiram William Thomas Jr.

BLACKWATER - Hiram William Thomas Jr., 55, died at home on Dec. 2, 2015.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at the Gila River District 5 Multipurpose Building, with rosary recited at 6. Burial will be in Sacate Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born on July 30, 1960, in Winterhaven, California. He was a farmworker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Mission. He lived life to the fullest, always socializing with friends and family.

Survivors include his companion, Josephine Novalto; two brothers, Ronald White of Casa Blanca and Marvin G. Thomas of Sacaton Flats; and three sisters, Willa Thomas and Tina R. Howard of Casa Blanca and Wilma Thomas-Lewis of Blackwater. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hiram W. Thomas Sr. and Mary Grace Jose; a brother, Wilmar Thomas Sr.; and a sister, Florinda Jose-Benitez.
