Hortencia Montijo Rodriguez

ELOY - Hortencia Montijo Rodriguez, 84, of Eloy died April 1, 2009 at RTA Hospice House in Casa Grande.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary recited at 7. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Juan Carlos Aguirre. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mrs. Rodriguez was born April 13, 1924 in Cortaro and was a daughter of Joaquin Montijo and Engracia Martinez. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include a son, Jose Rodriguez Jr. of Eloy; a daughter, Edilia Rodriguez of Casa Grande; a brother, Manuel Montijo of Eloy; two sisters, Rita Urquides and Emilia Hernandez of Eloy; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Rodriguez Sr.
