ELOY — Hortencia Vidal, 84, of Eloy died on May 7, 2010, at Archstone Care Center in Chandler.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 10, with Pastor Martha Fragga officiating. Burial will be in Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Vidal was born on June 1, 1925, in Gilbert and was a daughter of Ricardo and Ramona Garcia. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, singing and dancing. She also enjoyed visits from her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Estella Alarcon of Eloy, Linda Torres of Arizona City and Janie Howard of Mammoth; two sons, Jose and Macario Vidal Jr. of Eloy; a sister, Romelia Aviles of Eloy; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Macario; a son, Robert Yee; a grandson, Joey Vidal; two brothers, Isaac and Raymond Martinez; and a sister, Delores Hughes.
