Howard Fitzpatrick

Howard Baker Fitzpatrick, 89, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 8, 2010 at Desert Cove Nursing Center in Chandler.
A private service will be held later.
Mr. Fitzpatrick was born on Aug. 17, 1920 in Oxford, Idaho, to a family of eight children and was a son of Marion C. and Pearl Baker Fitzpatrick. He married Blanche L. Hunter on Dec. 13, 1938 in Mountain Home, Idaho. He was a manager for Idaho Bank & Trust and then became senior vice president. He served on the Governing Council for the American Banking Association. He retired after 40 years in the business.
He was active in Lions, Rotary and was a life member of Elks, Masons, Eastern Star and Shriners.
Survivors include a daughter, Jane Reader of Maricopa; a son, Richard Fitzpatrick of Easton, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; a son, David Fitzpatrick; two brothers; and five sisters.
