Hulet Delbert Terry

STOTONIC - Hulet Delbert Terry Sr., 63, of Stotonic died on July 13, 2020.

Mr. Terry was born on Dec. 21, 1956, to Delbert and Thelma Anton Terry. He graduated from Stewart Indian High School in Nevada, was active on the boxing team and won many awards. He moved to Bell Gardens, California, where he met his future wife, Delores.

He was an active marathon runner, raised money through multiple sclerosis bike rides and received a chaplain certification. He was much loved by everyone he met and worked with. He was a bus driver, detwist operator, and bailiff and security guard for the Gila River Indian Community. He had many friends on the Navajo Nation and in Southern California.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Arlan, Lerin and Hulet Jr.; a daughter, Lesley Legah; two brothers, Delvin and Alfonso; five sisters, Marilyn Lopez, Juanita Terry, Iris Murgia, Elva Pablo and Olivia Johnson; and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
