Irelana Ortiz

BAPCHULE - Irelana Ortiz, 62, died on Dec. 10, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to midnight Friday at St. Peter feast house. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church by Monsignor Ed Meulemans. Burial will be in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Ms. Ortiz was born on April 27, 1951, in Casa Grande. She was a school bus driver and a member of St. Peter Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Denise Milda of Casa Grande; her companion, Melvin Milda; two sisters, Anita Thomas and Julianna Laborin of Maricopa; two brothers, Lucas and Leon Ortiz of Pisinemo; three grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Ortiz and Regina Garcia, and a sister, Francisca Ortiz.
