ELOY - Isaura Lopez Quezada, 84, of Eloy died at home on Feb. 3, 2017.
Ms. Lopez Quezada was born on May 15, 1932, in El Claro, Sonora, Mexico. She was a homemaker and loved making tortillas and tamales. A very happy, positive and strong person, she really loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include five daughters and five sons, Librada L. Tarango of Phoenix, Rosa Irene L. Lopez of Eloy, Ramon L. Lopez of Tucson, Eduardo L. Lopez of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico, Beatriz E. Solano of Eloy, Bernardina L. Perez of Marana, Francisco Gabriel L. and Raymundo L. Lopez of Nogales, Sonora, Santiago Quezada Lopez of Eloy, Belen Quezada de Stephens of Green Valley; two sisters, Blanca L. Encinas of El Claro, Rafaela L. Rojas of Eloy; three brothers, Arnoldo Lopez of Tucson, Gilberto Lopez of Casa Grande and Francisco Lopez of Santa Ana, Sonora; 40 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Enrique Lopez Jr., and a sister, Enriqueta Lopez Vidal.
Visitation beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with rosary recited at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at St. Helen of the Cross Catholic Church by the Rev. Alonzo Garcia. Burial in Mexico.
