Ismael Briones Lopez, Sr.

CASA GRANDE — Ismael B. Lopez, 91, of Casa Grande died on Feb. 21, 2022, at home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Lopez was born on Sept. 8, 1930, in Pharr, Texas, to Anastacio Lopez and Blaza Briones.
He was devoted to his family and a very friendly and giving man to all he met. His love was endless and he worked hard all his life.
He was a sewing machine mechanic for 40 years and loved fixing sewing machines and vacuum cleaners. He was a generous, kindhearted man who went out of his way to help others.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Irene R.; four daughters and sons, Elizabeth Zambrano, Belinda Smith, Ismael Brian Lopez Jr. and Ronnie M. Lopez; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and a son, Robert Steve Lopez Sr.
