J. Rafael Madrigal-Partida

J. Rafael Madrigal-Partida of Casa Grande died at his home Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014. He was 54.

Rafael was born in Mexico on March 17, 1960.

Rafael was married to Silvia Madrigal. His family said he was a kind, loving, caring and dedicated husband and father, who always cared for people in need. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was athletic and exercised and lifted weights. A master gardener, Rafael spent many hours pruning and caring for his trees. He worked as a truck driver.

Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Laura Madrigal, Ruby Madrigal and Elizabeth Madrigal, all of Casa Grande and Gabriela Ibarra of Chandler; and two grandchildren. Rafael was preceded in death by his father, J. Domingo Madrigal; and his mother, Maria Patrida.

A funeral is set for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2014, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial follows in Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation is at 9 a.m. Friday and a rosary is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony’s. A wake is set for 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23 at his home, 25995 W. Ash Ave. in Casa Grande.
