ARIZONA CITY - Jack D. Grover, 84, of Arizona City died on Feb. 4, 2017.
Mr. Grover was born on Dec. 5, 1932, in Elkhart, Indiana, to Walter and Edith Grover. An Army veteran, he was known for his faith and love for his family.
He enjoyed telling people about Jesus through his preaching and taught Sunday school at Heaven's View Baptist Church in Arizona City. He loved working for J. Warren Funeral Services and took great pride in what he did. He was very friendly and personable and touched the lives of many.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Phyllis Jean Grover; their four adult children, Walter J. "Jim" Grover, Theodore L. Groman, Bruce V. "Rick" Grover and Jacquelyn E. Odom; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Herter, and six siblings, Arlie, Pete, Chuck, Walter Jr., John and Rosemary.
Memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Heaven's View Baptist Church.
