Jack Pretzer

Jack B. Pretzer, 82, of Casa Grande died on March 7, 2012, at Chandler Regional Medical Center.
Inurnment will be later in Pleasant Valley, Calif.
Mr. Pretzer was born on Oct. 12, 1929, in Madera, Calif., and was a son of Jack Pretzer Jr. and Erma Guy. He was a Navy veteran and a truck driver. He came to Arizona in 1930 with his father, a farmer, and moved to California in 1947, returning to Casa Grande in 1996 after retiring. He was a Mason for 50 years and enjoyed his constant companion, his dog Poco.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Joyce; a son, Randy Pretzer of Mariposa, Calif.; two daughters, Tia Wolfe and Tammy Mansfield of Merced, Calif.; a brother, Richard Pretzer of Cedar City, Utah; a sister, Patsy Carbine of Pollock Pines, Calif.; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Marla Pretzer.
