ARIZONA CITY — Jack C. Rowland, 73, of Arizona City died on March 4, 2013, at Oasis Pavilion Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Casa Grande.
A memorial service was held.
Mr. Rowland was born on April 18, 1939, in Buckeye and was a son of Herman Rowland and Velda Evans. Bob Christensen was his stepfather. He was an electrical engineer and worked for Arizona Public Service Co. for more than 40 years before retiring in 2007. He was devoted to his family and loved golf and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Jackson; two daughters, Danelle Farris of Litchfield Park and Ronda Cronin of Phoenix; three stepsons, Marcus, Mathew and Michael Lopez of Arizona; two brothers, Gerald Rowland and Larry Christensen of Beaumont, Calif.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne and Derrel Rowland.
