Jack Raymond Seil, 84, of Casa Grande died on Nov. 9, 2012.
Mr. Seil was born on June 9, 1928, to Edward and Josephine Seil in Snoqualmie, Wash., at their home. He joined the Navy after high school and for 20 years was a Seattle police officer until retirement in 1978. He filled his extra time with camping, fishing, hunting and golfing. After his wife, Lue, joined him in retirement they purchased Tierra Grande Country Club (golf course) near Casa Grande. They owned and managed it for a number of years and found many loving friends to golf and then party with on the patio.
In his last week, many of those friends were there taking care of him to make sure he was comfortable. He belonged to Issaquah Eagles Lodge 3054. He also belonged to Casa Grande Valley Elks Lodge 1957, which has a Lue Seil scholarship fund.
He was preceded in death by his wife and four siblings, Walter, Rex and William Seil and Keturah Ward. He is survived by a son, Mark Seil of Snoqualmie; a daughter, Nicki Creighton of Issaquah, Wash.; his loving companion, Geri Anderson; a sister and brother, Mabel Junevitch and Chet Seil; four grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
A celebration of life at Jack Seil's Clubhouse on Dec. 14 will begin at 3:30 p.m.
