ARIZONA CITY - Jack William Lindholme, 81, of Arizona City died in the arms of his wife on June 24, 2017.
Mr. Lindholme was born on Sept. 14, 1935, in Jamestown, New York, to Jules and Alice Lindholme. He grew up in New York and graduated from Frewsburg High School. He then joined the military, which he called the best four years of his life. When he was honorably discharged, he returned home to attend college. He studied to become a bookkeeper and started a career with steel companies.
In 1964 he moved to Arizona, where he became a bookkeeper for Chickasha Cotton Oil Company and later for Arizona Public Service Co. He loved gold panning, hunting and fishing for trout. He had a wonderful life, full of memories and laughter. He settled down with his wife, Pat, and spent the last 12 years with her.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Greg Lindholme; a sister, Barbara Williams; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Lewis Lindholme.
