ARIZONA CITY - Jacquelin "June" Pearce, 86, of Arizona City died peacefully at home on June 28, 2016.
Mrs. Pearce was born on Dec. 2, 1929, in Madison, Nebraska, to Earl and Laura Jackson. She was devoted to her family and was known as beautiful, pleasant, kind, loyal, gentle, God-fearing and modest. Loving the Diamondbacks, she tried to never miss a game and enjoyed spending time with her sister and family.
Having lived on a farm, she enjoyed watching her husband, whom she married on March 15, 1950, ride and tend to the horses and also attending rodeos. She was an inspiration to her daughter and family.
Survivors include a daughter, Mona M. Hughes of Arizona City; a son, Ted E. Pearce of Missoula, Montana; a brother, George Jackson of Reno, Nevada; a sister, Ardith Summers of Arizona City; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D.
A private gathering will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Family Care of Casa Grande.
