James Adams

James “David” Adams, longtime Casa Grande resident and business owner quietly passed away at home on Monday February 28th, 2011. David was born August 27th, 1955 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The proud descendant of numerous confederate soldiers, he proudly continued the family tradition of service to his country by serving in the 82nd Airborne division of the United States Army from 1973-1977. He was preceded in death by his parents James Terry Adams and Thelma Joann Bailey; sister Theresa Adams; and brother Michael T. Adams. Survivors include his wife Stephanie Lynn Adams; son James “Rick” Adams; grandsons, James Theodore Adams and Travis Alexander Adams; sister Dawn Adams-Cooley; brothers, Joseph Adams, Ernest “Butch” Adams and Thomas Conners; other relatives and friends. A beloved husband, father and “Papa”, you were taken before we could say goodbye, we love you and will miss you so very much. A memorial service will be held at J. Warren Funeral Services at 2:00, Friday, March 4, 2011.
