James Howard Cecil, 65, of Avondale died on April 9, 2011, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
The celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Casa Grande, with the Rev. Lonnie Gee officiating.
Mr. Cecil was born on Sept. 27, 1945, in Steele, Mo. He was a truck driver and loved to fish. He also loved his dogs, Missy and Cody, and was a gentle and considerate man. He loved to watch bullriding and monster trucks on TV.
Survivors include his companion, Lori Cecil; his mother, Wretha Webb of Casa Grande; a brother, John Cecil of Tyler, Texas; and a sister, Trudy Etheredge of Casa Grande. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny A. Cecil; two brothers, Jerry W. and Gary L. Cecil; and two sisters, Linda R. and Judy D. Cecil.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
