James Cruz

SANTAN — James Philip Cruz Sr., 26, of Santan died on Dec. 30, 2011, in Coolidge.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. today at the District 4 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Saturday in Sacaton Flats Cemetery.
Mr. Cruz was born on Oct. 6, 1985, in Phoenix. He worked at a restaurant and enjoyed singing and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his companion, Gerrica Lupe of Second Mesa; three sons, James P. Cruz Jr., Philip J. and Anthony L. Cruz, all of Second Mesa; his mother, Celicia A. Vavages of Sacaton; a sister, Felicia Cruz of Santan; and three brothers, Calvin Garcia Sr. and Marlon Garcia of Eloy and Charles Lopez Jr. of Coolidge. He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip L. Cruz.
