Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Pentecostal Church, 2701 E. Marguerite Ave. in Phoenix. The celebration of life will follow at 11, with Bishop David Eddings Sr. officiating. Burial will be Monday in National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.

Mr. Enoch was born on March 7, 1934, in Yoakum, Texas, the youngest of three children of Charles and Emma Enoch. The family moved to Phoenix when he was young. After graduating from Carver High School, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1952 and served as a firefighter, stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. While on leave in 1955, he visited his family, who were active in First Pentecostal Church. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. He also met a beautiful young woman named Juanita. After a 30-day courtship, he proposed and they were married on Nov. 23, 1955.

He was a hard worker and superior provider. He worked three jobs while attending Mesa Community College and received an associate degree in nursing in 1972, the first male to graduate from the new program. After several years of working as a registered nurse, he eventually became director of nursing at Magma Hospital in Superior. He later worked in Phoenix and Florence and retired after working at the Arizona Training Program at Coolidge. He made many friends.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years; five sons, Gregory Enoch of Phoenix, Alec Enoch of San Antonio, Texas, Ronald Enoch of Surprise, Anthony Enoch of Goodyear and Jon Paul Enoch of Glendale; a daughter, Kimberly Enoch of Casa Grande; a sister, Zella Robinson of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Charles Rae Jackson.
