James Ray Grayson

James Ray Grayson, age 68, 19 year resident of Casa Grande, passed away on Saturday August 17th, 2024 at his residence.  Born on October 1st, 1955 in Bakersfield, California to Charles & Mary Ann Grayson.  He married Jeannie Schmocker on April 21st, 1988 in Pinedale, Wyoming.  

Jim spent his career in the petroleum industry.  For years he traveled overseas working in countries across the globe.  He was an avid hunter and fly fisherman.  He loved team roping and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne Grayson of Casa Grande; daughters, Kelsey Grayson of Casa Grande and Melissa Polson of Long Beach, CA; sister, Catherine Grayson of Vancouver, WA and brother, Paul Grayson of Kent, WA.  Also survived by four grandchildren and a cousin, Bobby Grayson.  Preceded in death by his father, Charles; and Gayle Diffenbaugh.  Celebration of Life memorial will be held at a later date and time.
