MARICOPA - James Harold Ake Sr., 63, of Maricopa died on May 10, 2019.

Mr. Ake loved cars and was an automobile aficionado. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed watching NHRA drag racing and was a master carpenter.

He is survived by a son and two daughters, James H. Ake Jr. of Phoenix, Kathryn S. Ake and Emily R. Ake of Ohio; and two sisters, Becky Kocab and Sue Ake of Ohio.
