James Taylor

James Herbert Taylor Sr., 89, of Casa Grande died on April 24, 2011, at home.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 11. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 by the Rev. Kevin Clinch. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born on Jan. 10, 1922, in Louisville, Ky., and was a son of Leonard A. and Maude M. Taylor. He served in the military and was a heavy-equipment operator for county government. He enjoyed watching baseball and football and was a Yankees fan. He was down to earth.
Survivors include three sons, Ernest C., Ronald A. and James H. Taylor Jr., all of Casa Grande; two brothers, Paul E. Taylor of Louisville and Silas L. Taylor of Elizabethtown, Ky.; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen A.
