James Thomas Nunez

PHOENIX - James Thomas Nunez, 28, of Phoenix died on Nov. 8, 2016, at home.

Mr. Nunez was born on Sept. 23, 1988, in Mesa and was a son of Jerry and Maria M. (Nunez) Flores. He enjoyed BMX, freestyle riding, playing basketball and watching the Lakers and Cowboys.

Survivors include a son, James T. Nunez Jr. of Phoenix; his mother, of Phoenix; a brother, Steven C. Flores of Phoenix; and a sister, Cassey L. Flores of Phoenix. He was preceded in death by his father.

The wake was Friday night at the Nunez home. Burial will be at 8 a.m. today in Guadalupe Cemetery.
