James Viola

COOLIDGE — James Hijino “Jimmy” Viola Sr., 56, of Naschitti, N.M., died on July 26, 2011, in Naschitti.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. today at St. James Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Virgilio Tabo.
Mr. Viola was born on Oct. 3, 1954, in Florence. He enjoyed his family and friends and also liked attending social events including meetings, family gatherings and bingo. He enjoyed tending livestock.
Survivors include his wife, Maudry; three daughters, Audrey V. Nunez of Coolidge, Sarah A. and Elaina A. Viola of Naschitti; a son, James H. Viola Jr. of Naschitti; three sisters, Trinidad V. DeLeon of Lathrop, Calif., Edelia V. Cervantes and Theresa “Terrie” Viola of Coolidge; three brothers, Tony Viola II and Freddie Viola of Coolidge and Joe Viola of Florence; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alicia and Antonio Viola Sr., and two brothers, Charlie and Phillip Viola.
