Jane Norris

Jane Beverly Norris, 84, a longtime Casa Grande resident and retired registered nurse, died at home on May 21, 2012.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel. A celebration of life will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 by the Rev. John Arnold. Inurnment will be private.
Mrs. Norris was born on June 27, 1927, in Binghamton, N.Y. She worked at Hoemako Hospital and Casa Grande Regional Medical Center and was a school nurse for 15 years in the Casa Grande Elementary School District.
She was a member of church Sodality, CGRMC Auxiliary, Casa Grande Valley Historical Society, Alpha Epsilon sorority, Casa Grande Library Advisory Board, St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Anthony's Church. Often called "Nurse Norris," she was an antique collector and artist.
Survivors include her husband, Jim; five sons, Chip Norris of Chandler, Dennis and Bill Norris of Casa Grande, Tom Norris of Vacaville, Calif., and Dan Norris of Flagstaff; a daughter, Patricia Norris-Ross of Casa Grande; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Tim Norris; two brothers; and a sister.
Memorial contributions may be made to Casa Grande Valley Historical Society or St. Vincent de Paul Society.
