Janice Hoffman

Janice Jean Hoffman, 59, died at home on Oct. 4, 2014.

The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Trekell Building, with Bishop Manuel Leybas officiating.

Mrs. Hoffman was born on Nov. 11, 1954, in Casa Grande and was a daughter of Maxine and Eddie Christensen. She was a loving mother and homemaker for her family, which meant everything to her, and cared dearly for her grandchildren. She was service oriented and treated anyone who entered her home like family. She liked to garden and was talented in painting, decorating and design.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Christina, and her father. Survivors include her husband, Marvin; a son, Marcus Hoffman; a daughter, Stephanie Lawler; her mother; two sisters, Tammy Hiscox and Susan Kramer; and seven grandchildren.

Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
