BLACKWATER — Janice Mae Jones, 58, of Blackwater died on Dec. 4, 2011, at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the Blackwater Community Building. The graveside service will be at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Sells Baptist Cemetery, with Pastor Ronnie Lyons officiating.
Mrs. Jones was born on June 5, 1953, in Sells. She graduated from Casa Grande Union High School and worked for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs for 28 years, most recently as a realty specialist. She helped farmers with land leases and families with home sites.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Sheldon K.; three sons, Alfonso Soto III of Sacaton, Jeremy and Wacey Jones of Blackwater; two daughters, Zonelle and Kara Jones of Blackwater; two brothers, Neil and Manuel Miguel of Sells; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Eliza J. and George Robertson.
