Javier "Buff" Gonzales

ELOY - Javier "Buff" Gonzales Jr., 62, of Eloy died on July 27, 2013.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel. The funeral will follow at 7. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Friday in Eloy Memorial Park.

Mr. Gonzales was born on May 3, 1951, in Los Fresnos, Texas. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He loved spending time with his family and dogs, singing, and playing guitar and piano.

Survivors include his wife, Hilaria; a son, Silvano J. Gonzales of Eloy; two daughters, Crisol Gonzales of San Diego and Bianca G. Hernandez of Eloy; a brother, Sergio Torres Gonzales of California; his father, Silvano Torres Gonzales of California; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilaria Torres.
