Jeannine Larkin, 90 died peacefully at her home surrounded by family in Pinal County, Arizona
USA, on 04-20-2023.
Jeannine Larkin was born as Kriebel-Jooren in Nijmegen, The Netherlands on 02-03 1933.
Preceding her in death is her eldest son Jerome M. Agre, and beloved husband Bill Larkin.
She saw WWII through the eyes of a seven to twelve year old girl. After the war she finished
high school and studied painting and sketching at the Quellinus School in Amsterdam.
In 1953 she married Mr. Jerome Agre and moved to Roseau County Minnesota USA. In 1956
the Agre Family moved to Anchorage, Alaska. Her marriage with Jerome produced a half dozen
wonderful children, Linda Agre, Jerry M. Agre, Martin J. Agre, Michelle A. Agre, Jason E. Agre,
and James A. Agre.
Mrs Larkin, (Jeannine (Nicky) Agre-Brongers) Moved back to The Netherlands in 1970, where
she resumed painting and sketching. In 1977 she was the first woman to pilot metro system
trains for the City of Amsterdam.
In 1981 Jeannine Larkin fell in love with Korean War veteran Army infantry mechanic William
(Bill) Brendan Larkin of Eagle River, Alaska, the couple married in 1982,
Jeannine and Bill lived together In Anchorage and Palmer, Alaska, retiring happily in Casa
Grande, Arizona in 2002.
Mrs Larkin will be missed by all her family and friends in The Netherlands, USA, Australia and
Germany.
