Jeffery Antone

BLACKWATER — Jeffery Paul Antone, 44, died on Nov. 18, 2009, in Phoenix.

Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Monday at the District 1 Service Center. The graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Upper Santan Cemetery, with the Rev. Aaron Johns officiating.

Mr. Antone was born on July 21, 1965, in Sacaton. He was a caregiver for the Gila River Indian Community. He was strong-spirited. He liked to tell stories and joke and was known for his sense of humor. He had many friends.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie; two daughters, Tiffany Antone of Casa Grande and Alexandria Antone of Mescalero, N.M.; two sisters, Lorna Antone of Coolidge and Jolene Antone of Montana; two brothers, Aaron Antone of Blackwater and Lewellyn Antone of Laveen; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph H. and Pansy Antone.
