Jeffory "Petey" Sanders

Jeffory Allen "Petey" Sanders, 52, of Casa Grande died on March 12, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

Mr. Sanders was born on Sept. 11, 1962, in Vallejo, California. He loved music and started playing drums at age 4. He was a very accomplished drummer in the band Ash in Casa Grande and earlier taught English in Taiwan. He loved his family and friends and especially his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Sanders of Flagstaff and Lindsey Gazar of Killeen, Texas; a son, Zac Sanders of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; his mother, Lois Sanders of Casa Grande; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Sanders.
