Jenny C Feliz

Jenny C. Feliz, 85, of Florence, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 4, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1938, in Oracle, Arizona to Raphael and Guadalupe Cruz. Throughout her life, Jenny held many jobs - from a deli cashier to a nurse - until she discovered her true calling as a teacher's aide for the Florence School District. For 27 years, she dedicated herself to this role, winning the hearts of countless students and faculty members. They affectionately referred to her as "Nana".

Aside from her work, Jenny found joy in various activities. Gardening allowed her to nurture beautiful flowers and create a serene outdoor space while camping and fishing provided opportunities for adventure and cherished memories. However, it was in the kitchen where Jenny truly shined. Known for her culinary skills, she delighted family and friends with her mouthwatering tamales and empanadas.

Jenny exemplified kindness in its purest form. She possessed a heart that overflowed with generosity towards others - often sacrificing her own needs to help those around her. Her love knew no bounds; it extended unconditionally to both her family and everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Jenny is survived by her children: Louis Sepulveda of Tucson, Maria Bruninga (Ron) of Florence, and Celia Patterson (Robert) of Coolidge. She is also survived by a sister Teresa Contreras and leaves behind legacy comprising 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Richard Arthur Feliz and her parents Raphael and Guadalupe Cruz. Additionally, she joins in eternal rest two daughters: Rosa Blanco and Monica Feliz-Chapman, as well as a grandson, Richard Arthur Reese. She is also preceded in death by a brother and a sister, who will forever hold a special place in the memories of those who loved her.

Jenny C. Feliz was a guiding light in the lives of many, leaving behind cherished moments and an indelible impact on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. As we bid farewell to this extraordinary woman, may her spirit of love and selflessness continue to inspire us all.
