Jeremy Trujillo Jones

SANTAN - Jeremy Trujillo Jones, 34, of Chandler died on Sept. 2, 2017.
Mr. Jones was born on Nov. 3, 1982, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix to Janice Mendez-Jones and Sheldon K. Jones. He attended Sacaton Public Schools and later Coolidge High School. As a toddler, he loved shadowing his grandpa, "Cowboy Charlie," and his dad in tending to the Jones Ranch animals: horses, cows, goats, pigs, rabbits, etc. As he became a young man, he continued to love the cowboy life and loved to "cowboy up," attending or watching rodeos.
He was also an avid sports fan who loved watching football and basketball, especially the Arizona Wildcats, and enjoyed talking sports with family and friends. Although he had no children, he was a big-hearted fellow who cared for his deceased parents' family dog, Yum-Yum, like his very own child.
He is survived by three siblings, Alfonso Soto III, Wacey Jones and Kara Jones, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Zonelle Jones.
Visitation from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at the District 4 Service Center. Funeral at 6 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Upper Santan Presbyterian Church. Burial in Jones Cemetery.
