Jerry John Flores died on July 16, 2024, at the age of 70. He was born on March 25, 1954, to Sarah Anselmo and Albert A. Flores. Jerry called Coolidge home, though his roots traced back to Palo Verde Stand on the Tohono O'odham Nation.
Throughout his life, Jerry enjoyed reading and spending time at the library. He was a seasonal farm and cotton gin laborer. He was a musician that played the acoustic guitar for The American Indians back in the 1970s.
He is survived by his sister Jean Cruz, and his brother, Wilbert Flores. Jerry is preceded in death by eight siblings: Allie, Billy, Celestine, Rose Anne, Evelyn Clarence Flores Sr., and two infant sisters.
A wake service will be on Friday, July 26, 2024, in Palo Verde Stand Village starting at 8:00 a.m., followed by a burial at 3 p.m. at San Luis Cemetery in San Luis, Az. within the Tohono O'odham Nation community.
Arrangements are being handled by J. Warren Funeral Services at Mt View Chapel.
