Jerry Paul "Cowboy" Latham, 53, of Casa Grande died Sept. 7, 2007 at RTA Hospice House.
Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Tuesday at Emanuel Baptist Church. The funeral there will follow at 9, with the Rev. Virgil Stoneburner and the Rev. Johnny Latham officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Latham was born Feb. 24, 1954 in Las Cruces, N.M. He served in the Army and was stationed at Fort Sill, Okla. He came to Arizona about 30 years ago from California and was a plumber. He enjoyed fishing and putting together model airplanes.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Tomasa (Ledezma) Latham; his mother, Trudy Latham of Tehachapi, Calif.; two sons, Tomas Latham of Casa Grande and Paul Latham of Bakersfield, Calif.; four brothers, Joseph Latham of Centennial, Colo., Lonnie Latham of Tehachapi, Johnny and Denver Latham of Bakersfield; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Latham.
