Jessie Mata

Jessie Mata, 83, of Casa Grande died on Jan. 15, 2012, at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center.
The celebration of life will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at J. Warren Funeral Services, Cole & Maud The Gardens Chapel.
Mrs. Mata was born on Dec. 25, 1928, in Cotulla, Texas, and was a daughter of Ramona Martinez Cordova and Gonzalo Cordova Sr. She was a homemaker and had a kind spirit. She loved her family, Spanish and Tejano music and Coca-Cola.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda of Casa Grande; two sons, Raul and Johnny of Casa Grande; two sisters, Maria Guadalupe Cross and Mary Hernandez of Casa Grande; four brothers, Ted Cordova of North Las Vegas, Nev., Fernando Cordova of Casa Grande, Gonzalo Cordova Jr. of Salinas, Calif., and Arturo Cordova of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calixto, and a great-grandchild, Summer Mata.
