Jesus Sanchez

CASA GRANDE - Jesus "Jesse" Sanchez, 67, died on Jan. 15, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Sanchez was born on Dec. 22, 1950, in Casa Grande and was a son of Luis Hernandez Sanchez and Petra Casas Sanchez. He was a skilled craftsman who enjoyed working with wood and was a furniture maker by trade.

He was a lifelong resident of Casa Grande and a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He also was a big fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and was devoted to his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Tony Sanchez. He is survived by his mother; two sisters, Maria V. Montoya of Laveen and Mary Hinojosa of Casa Grande; a brother, Louis Sanchez Jr. of Casa Grande; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, with rosary recited at 10. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:30 by the Rev. Ariel Lustan. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery.
