ELOY - Jettie Faye McDaniel, 75, died on Nov. 5, 2018.
Ms. McDaniel was born on Sept. 25, 1943, in Bald Knob, Arkansas, to Lonnie and Essie (Wheeler) Cornwell. She moved with her family to Arizona in 1948 and grew up in Eloy. She later found her way to Phoenix, where she raised two sons and adored her granddaughter, the love of her life.
She was fun loving and very independent. She loved cowboys, country music, visiting with friends and sitting outside on the lanai watching hummingbirds. She seemed to be 29 to her family and friends and was known for her fiery and eccentric spirit, her smile and her stubbornness.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth, Evia and Reba, and is survived by two sons, Justin and Jarrod; four brothers, Harvie, Thurman, Clinton and Kenneth; a sister, Rosie; and a granddaughter.
Visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, at J. Warren Funeral Services, Valley Chapel, with graveside service at 2 in Eloy Memorial Park.
